Company ProfileInmobiliaria Lingwood is an independent family business specialising in villas on the hillside overlooking Salobrena town and - yes - the views really are as shown on the photo above! The business was started in 1997 by Mike Lingwood, Chartered Surveyor and Margaret Lingwood, Gestor Intermediario de Promociones y Edificaciones (G.I.P.E.), property professionals and each with around twenty years' knowledge and experience of the local property market in and around Salobrena, Costa Tropical de Granada. We were fortunate to have moved to Salobrena with our 3 young children in 1988 & for the past 18 years we have lived on Monte de los Almendros, the most popular residential area on the hillside. We know most of the people here and many of our new buyers are introduced by former clients who have been happy to recommend us to their friends. In January 2005 we were joined by James Thomas, a qualified UK lawyer and resident of Monte de los Almendros, to help us cope with the increasing demand for properties in this area. James is now a partner in the business working primarily with Mike on sales and marketing. Recently, we have also been joined by Claudia Nahl, whom we got to know when she was working for a local bank. Her competence, enthusiasm and determination to do her job well were clear for all to see and we have been fortunate in persuading Claudia to join us to assist Margaret with the considerable amount of work involved with each transaction from the moment the sale is agreed until completion. Claudia is German and also speaks perfect Spanish, excellent English and some French! Our selling methods are far removed from those of the high pressure real estate agents you might have come across on the Costa del Sol. During the past 10 years we have helped buyers successfully conclude more than 300 property purchases, with none of them having had problems of a legal, structural or financial nature or indeed with anything else significant that they were unaware of at the time of purchase. Bearing in mind the many unfortunate stories one hears about nowadays on "buying abroad" TV programs and in property magazines, our 100% client satisfaction record is an assurance you will appreciate if you do decide to let us assist you with your purchase. We are very careful which properties we take on and reject any that we are not entirely happy with from a structural or legal standpoint.
