Calamedina, a small pueblo development by the sea in Salobrena, Andalucia.
A re-creation of a small Andalucian pueblo by the sea at Salobrena, Costa Tropical de Granada. This attractive development of just 22 units was the brainchild of a talented local architect well known for his faithful re-creations of the Andalucian pueblo style. Although he is no longer with us, over the past 30 years the influence of Alfonso Cardenas on the area to the west of Salobrena is immediately obvious to anyone visiting the area. Calamedina is popular with people looking for the convenience of a "lock-and-go" holiday home but also seeking the aesthetic appeal of an Andalucian pueblo. Each property is different and most have magnificent views directly to the sea and to Salobrena castle. Some have garages, and all have use of the excellent community pool which is kept full and clean all year round. However, owing to the fact that for most of the year only around half of the properties tend to be occupied at any one time, the pool area is seldom busy. Many of the owners let their properties when they are not here and if you might be interested in staying in one take a look at the rental information on AMS-Travel
